Cheryl Caulfield

Cheryl Caulfield is a member of the Wake County Board of Education, representing District 1 since her election in 2022. Before entering politics, her career was in property management and she previously worked as a senior mortgage underwriter. She studied business management at Farmingdale State College SUNY and earned a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. A resident of Wake Forest for two decades, she is a mother of two sons in public schools and has been an active community volunteer, including with the PTA and youth sports. She co-founded the N.C. School Board Coalition to advocate for various educational issues with state legislators.
