Chi Ossé is an American politician and activist who serves as a member of the New York City Council representing the 36th district in Brooklyn. Born in 1998, he became a prominent organizer during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests before his election to the City Council in 2021 as its youngest member. Ossé initially filed to run for the U.S. House to represent New York's 8th Congressional District in the 2026 election, but he withdrew from the Democratic primary in November 2025.
