Born in 1963, he graduated from Vigor High School and later moved to Greenville in 1990, where he founded Sells Medical Equipment in 2008, establishing himself as a successful small businessman. Motivated by dissatisfaction with state politics, he first assumed office on November 5, 2014, and was re-elected in November 2022. He is a husband and father, currently serving his term until November 2026, and is a candidate in the 2026 Alabama Primary Election.
