Christine Fano

Christine Fano is a current member of the Montville Township Board of Education. She and her family have been residents of Montville Township since 1996, and her two sons have attended the district's public schools. Prior to her role on the board, Fano served as a Parent-Staff Organization (PSO) President and Vice-President. She has also been involved with the Early Intervention Board for Morris County and has been a special needs advocate for over two decades. As a board member, she has served on the Policy and Safety & Security subcommittees and has been a liaison to William Mason Elementary's Home and School Association (HSA) and the Lazar Middle School PTC. Fano attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Seton Hall University for Secondary Education in Biology and Theatre Arts. In 2023, an ethics complaint was filed against her related to her involvement in local politics, but the School Ethics Commission dismissed the alleged violations.
