Christopher Irizarry is a U.S. Army veteran and retired CIA officer running as a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 12th Congressional District. Born in Hialeah, Florida, he earned a bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University. He served in the Army from 1995 to 2003, deploying to Kosovo. After his military service, he joined the CIA in 2006, working in counterproliferation and counterintelligence before retiring in 2024.
