Christy Clark is the current Mayor of Huntersville, elected in 2023. She previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2019-2020. Before entering politics, she co-founded a law firm assisting small businesses and worked as a guest teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Roanoke College and a Paralegal Certificate from Duke University. Her civic involvement includes volunteering with Moms Demand Action and serving on her local HOA board.
