Clancy Baucom is a lifelong resident of Union County, North Carolina. He graduated from Piedmont High School and earned an associate degree from North Carolina State University. For 37 years, he has owned and operated Arbor Fields Inc., a wholesale nursery in Marshville. In March 2024, he was appointed to the Union County Board of Commissioners. He is married to his wife Kim, and they have three adult daughters.
