Clint Spellman, Jr.

Clint Spellman Jr. is a Democratic candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 2nd Congressional District. A native of Baltimore, Spellman is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in 1978. He is a graduate of Northwestern High School and has attended the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Professionally, he has a background in the insurance industry. Citing his personal experience with poverty, Spellman's platform centers on economic issues. He advocates for an increased federal minimum wage and reform of wage garnishment laws. He also proposes a job training program called "Poverty to Profession." Spellman is running in the Democratic primary scheduled for June 23, 2026.
