Corley Ellis

Corley Ellis is an incumbent State Representative for Alabama House District 41, a Republican representing Shelby County. A lifelong resident, he earned his business degrees from Auburn University and owns Ellis Properties, Inc. Prior to his election, he served a decade as a Shelby County Commissioner, two years as its Chairman. In the House, he chairs the Insurance Committee and is Vice Chairperson of Shelby County Legislation, also serving on Fiscal Responsibility, State Parks, Reapportionment, and Ways and Means Education committees. Actively involved in his community, he supports the American Cancer Society and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He is married to Julie Harris Ellis and has a son, Jamison. He is a candidate for the 2026 Alabama Primary Election.
