Dan Katz

Dan Katz is a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 42A. He brings a deep background in public service, built over a 29-year career. For 18 of those years, Katz served with the Maryland State Police (MSP), where he held a significant leadership position as the Director of the Forensic Sciences Division for 12 years. His campaign emphasizes this extensive experience as a proven leader within Maryland State Government. Katz earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in 1994, followed by a graduate degree from George Washington University in 1997. He has been a resident of Maryland Line since 2008, and his children are graduates of Hereford High School.
