Dana Jones is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 30A in Anne Arundel County. She was appointed to the legislature in May 2020 and won her first full term in the 2022 election. Before her public service in the House of Delegates, Jones built a career as a political consultant, contributing her expertise to national organizations including the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and EMILY's List. Her early career also included serving as a legislative aide to U.S. Representative Ben Cardin. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in sociology from Towson University. In the legislature, she has served on both the Appropriations Committee and the Ways and Means Committee.
