Daniel Orban

Daniel Orban is a long-term resident of the East Phillips neighborhood where he lives with his wife and two children. He works as a lecturer in the computer science department at the University of Minnesota, where he also received his PhD in 2021. Prior to his current role, he worked as a website programmer and software contractor. Orban is running as an Independent, stating a preference to be endorsed by the people in his ward rather than a political party. This is his second time running against the incumbent, Jason Chavez.
