David Equals Inclusion, DEI, Hi, I’m David Suarez and I’m running to be your Executive Vice President on the Student Assembly. As the current Vice President of Internal Operations, I have worked tirelessly to represent Cornell’s student body and always vote with students’ best interests in mind.    My goal as Executive Vice President is to work for you and ensure that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion remain at the heart of the Assembly’s projects. It is up to us to push and challenge the university to improve for our well-being. I come to you at a time when we must fight for what we believe in, and I am here to fight. Together we form a stronger Cornell Community. I’m dedicated to ensuring marginalized communities are heard and recognized in discourse, and that Assembly leadership takes tangible steps to ensure the safety and inclusion of all students on campus.    Having served as the Assembly’s third-highest-ranking officer gives me the experience and confidence to assume the role of Executive Vice President and make your visions possible.
