David Guilmette is a Republican and a lifelong Maine resident, born in Gardiner and residing in Richmond for over 30 years. A Vietnam Combat Veteran and Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduate, he has an extensive background in law enforcement and military service. As an avid outdoorsman, he is committed to preserving Maine's natural beauty. Guilmette is running for the Maine House of Representatives to advocate for an accountable and transparent government. His platform includes fostering a strong business climate, promoting school choice, protecting 2nd Amendment rights, securing borders, enforcing immigration laws, and reducing tax burdens through fiscal responsibility.
