Sally Jeane Cluchey

Sally Jeane Cluchey is a Democratic State Representative for Maine's House District 52, currently serving her second term and residing in Bowdoinham. Her district includes Bowdoinham, Richmond, and part of Bowdoin. Cluchey's background encompasses malaria vaccine development for the U.S. military, health policy roles at the National Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Medicine and Brookings Institution, and organizational development for a health technology startup. She holds a master’s in biomedical science and a bachelor’s in classical studies. Beyond her legislative duties, she is an outreach coordinator for Bowdoinham Community Connections and chairs the Bowdoinham Food Pantry board. As a candidate for the 2026 Maine Primary Election, Cluchey advocates for policies such as the Electricity Cost Fairness Refundable Tax Credit to alleviate rising utility costs for families.
