Dawn Luedtke

Dawn Luedtke, a Democrat, is a member of the Montgomery County Council, representing District 7 since her election in 2022. A former Assistant Attorney General for Maryland, her work has focused on public safety, healthy schools, and behavioral health. On the Council, she serves on the Public Safety and Health and Human Services Committees. Luedtke is a certified law enforcement trainer and has served on various state-level task forces and work groups related to school safety and mental health. She earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Luedtke lives in Ashton with her husband and four children.
