Debra Jean Entenman, born in Seattle, Washington, on November 27, 1961, is an active public servant and community advocate. As a vital member of the Democratic Party in Washington State, she made history as one of five African American women elected to the state legislature. Her background includes early participation in the Seattle/King County Head Start Program and graduating with honors from Franklin High School in 1980. With extensive experience in community outreach, she launched her first campaign for State Representative of the 47th Legislative District in 2018. Her policy focus includes supporting programs for families in poverty, tackling mental health and addiction challenges, and improving low-income housing and education. She presently serves as a State Representative for Washington's 47th Legislative District.
