Dennis Nehring is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives for District 23. He assumed office on May 6, 2024, having been appointed to replace Scott Dyk, and his current term extends until December 1, 2026. Prior to his legislative tenure, Nehring served on the Williams County School District 8 School Board. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and holds a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University. Nehring is currently seeking re-election to the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 23, in the 2026 North Dakota Republican Primary Election.
