Derrick Michael Reid is a Libertarian candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent California's 47th Congressional District. He is an engineer with a background in aerospace and defense systems, and an attorney with 25 years of experience as a patent litigator. He holds a degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley and a law degree from Wayne State University. Reid also serves as the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Orange County and previously ran for U.S. Senate in 2018.
