DeShanneon Grimes

DeShanneon Grimes is a Realtor with Keller Williams and an entrepreneur who has lived in Ward 10 for over 20 years. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, she moved to Minneapolis for a role with Saks Fifth Avenue and has since run her own insurance agency and a small house cleaning business. She is also an animal rights advocate who fosters and rehomes dogs and cats. Her decision to run for city council was driven by concerns over the decline of the Uptown neighborhood, including business closures and a decrease in public amenities.
