With over 20 years of experience in education and as a developmental therapist, she has dedicated her career to mentoring students and advocating for families. Her community involvement includes serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Lakeland and volunteering with local organizations. Simmons is running as a No Party Affiliation candidate for U.S. House in Florida's 18th District.
