Scott Franklin is a Republican serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 18th Congressional District since 2023. He previously represented Florida's 15th District from 2021 to 2023. Before entering Congress, Franklin served 26 years as a Naval Aviator in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Commander, and spent 20 years leading an insurance business in Lakeland, Florida. He also served as a Lakeland City Commissioner. Franklin earned a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Embry-Riddle.
