Doug Loots has been a resident of West Des Moines since 1997. He is the Global Chief Revenue Officer for the Insurance business at Coherent, a global software company. Loots has a history of community involvement, currently serving as Chairperson for the West Des Moines Human Services Board and on the Board of Directors for the Metro Waste Authority. His family has a long history of public service in Iowa. He holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and a BA from Briar Cliff University.
