Drew Stokesbary, a lifelong Washingtonian, is the incumbent State Representative for District 31-Position 1, serving his sixth term, and has been the House Republican Leader since April 2023. An attorney and graduate of Duke and Notre Dame Law, he also practices law for startups and serves on the Auburn Valley YMCA board. Running for re-election in 2026 as a Republican, Stokesbary campaigns on reducing the cost of living, enhancing public safety and education, increasing affordable housing, and fighting new taxes, including a state income tax.
