Dylan Wegela is an American politician and former teacher serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 26th district since 2023 [1.2]. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously worked as a middle school and 9th-grade teacher. Wegela was active in the "Red for Ed" teacher strike wave in Arizona and served as president of his local teachers' union. He grew up in Livonia, Michigan, and graduated from Eastern Michigan University.
