Ed Crizer is a Democratic candidate for the Baltimore County Council in Councilmanic District 9. A long-time figure in local politics, he previously ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 6 in 2014. Crizer serves on the Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee, representing District 6. In 2011, an Edward W. Crizer, Jr. was an employee of the Baltimore County Board of Appeals and chaired the county's Councilmanic Redistricting Commission. More recently, a young progressive activist named Ed Crizer, who also represents the Essex area on the Democratic Central Committee, ran for Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party.
