Edward Jackson is a candidate for City of Roanoke Rapids City Council District 2 in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Edward 'Andy' Jackson is a lifelong resident of Roanoke Rapids and a 1981 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. He attended East Carolina University, where he majored in Industrial Technology, and later obtained his Basic Law Enforcement Training from Wilson Community College. Jackson served with the city for 20 years, retiring as the Deputy Police Chief of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department, and also worked for the state of North Carolina for 10 years. He is currently a floor supervisor at Lowe's Home Improvement. In September 2024, he was unanimously appointed to the City Council to fill the unexpired term of Wayne Smith.
