Edwin Brand

Edwin Brand is seeking the Republican nomination for Iowa State Senate District 13 in 2026. A Centerville resident and southern Iowa native, he owns 98.7 KMGO Radio. Brand's campaign is built on conservative principles including limited government, individual freedom, and fiscal responsibility. His career in radio began at age 13, eventually leading him to own the station where he started. He holds an associate degree from Indian Hills, bachelor's degrees in political science and psychology, and a master's degree in government administration and public accounting. Brand is an active volunteer for numerous local organizations.
