Elizabeth Fox

Elizabeth Fox, also known as Eli, is an incumbent Council Member who was first elected via a write-in campaign. She is a descendant of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians and was born and raised on the west Michigan lakeshore. Fox earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's from Western Michigan University. Professionally, she is the Data & Systems Director for BOOM LLC, supporting Michigan-based nonprofits, and previously worked for 13 years at Muskegon Community College. She is the first openly gay official elected to the Norton Shores City Council.
