Elroy G. Boyer, Jr. is a Democratic politician serving as Chief Judge for the Orphans' Court of Kent County in Maryland. Born in Rock Hall in 1953, Boyer has maintained a long career in both public service and local business. He first became a judge for the Kent County Orphans' Court in 1990 and was subsequently elevated to Chief Judge in December 1994, a role he has held through numerous successful re-elections. Outside of judicial duties, he served as a member of the Conference of Orphans' Court Judges from 2003 to 2009. Boyer is also the President of Boyer's Enterprises, Inc. and has co-owned Boyer's Jewelers since 1984.
