Eric Klein is a long-serving member of the Clive City Council, first elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2013, 2017, and 2021. He is a graduate of Dowling Catholic High School and the University of Iowa. Klein served for over 12 years in the Iowa National Guard as a Captain and Company Commander, which included an overseas deployment with a NATO Multi-National Peacekeeping Force. His professional career has been primarily in medical sales, and in 2024 he joined the Iowa Cubs as a Corporate Account Executive. He and his wife, Kennetha, have lived in Clive for almost 20 years and have two sons.
