Eric Stevenson is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he worked as a civilian leader on Fort Bragg, where he assisted thousands of service members in their transition to civilian life. He is the finance chair for the Harnett County GOP and the Anderson Creek Precinct Secretary. Stevenson previously ran for U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 13th Congressional District, losing in the Republican primary on March 5, 2024. He is a husband and a father to two daughters.
