Evan Lide

Evan Lide is an incumbent City Councilman in Lambertville, having been elected in January 2023. He is a Shareholder and a member of the Personal Injury Group at the law firm Stark & Stark, and is a certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. His legal practice focuses on representing individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic injuries. Born and raised in New Jersey, his father was a lawyer and his mother was a school teacher. He graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2007. Lide and his wife, Melissa, moved to Lambertville in 2014. He has been active in the community, serving on the board of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, and formerly on the boards of the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) and NonProfitConnect. His desire to run for City Council was inspired by his work with community organizers to help residents displaced by Hurricane Ida.
