He is actively involved in the community, serving as the chairman of the advisory board at the Ragsdale YMCA, a board member of the Greensboro Metro YMCA, and past president of the Jamestown Rotary Club. He is also a member of the nonprofit PAIR NC and has been the chairman of the Jamestown Christmas Parade for nine years.
