G. Rick Marshall

G. Rick Marshall has a background in information technology, having worked at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, and run his own computer consulting firm. He previously owned a small business, a coin-operated laundry in Long Beach. Marshall has been involved in local government, serving as the Vice-Chair of the City of Torrance Water Commission and on the Curriculum Advisory Board for Harbor College. He has run for public office multiple times, including for the State Board of Equalization in 2014, 2018, and 2022, and the Torrance Unified Board of Education in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Sterling College.
