Gary Roberts

Gary Roberts is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, having been appointed to the position in 2018. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Roberts had an extensive legal career. From 1993 to 2017, he held various positions at Fox Entertainment Group, including Executive Vice President of Fox Group Legal. Prior to his time at Fox, he was an associate at Munger, Tolles and Olson LLP from 1985 to 1993. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Reynaldo G. Garza at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit from 1984 to 1985. Judge Roberts earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University.
