Gary Woronchak is a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives representing District 15 in the 2026 election. A former newspaper editor for the Dearborn Press & Guide and managing editor of the Daily Tribune, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1999 to 2004. Woronchak later served on the Wayne County Board of Commissioners from 2005 to 2018, holding the position of Chairman from 2011 to 2018. He holds a degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
