Genevieve Lemire, a Democratic candidate for Maine House District 10 in 2026, retired after a 41-year career as a quality analyst, returning home to Pembroke, Maine. A mother and grandmother, her background includes extensive community volunteering and Peace Corps service. She also previously served as a Justice of the Peace in Vermont. Lemire is running to support Maine families, seniors, and veterans struggling with rising property, housing, healthcare, and energy costs. Her campaign focuses on practical solutions to make housing more affordable, help seniors stay in their homes, ensure accessible childcare and healthcare, and lower everyday expenses through less bureaucratic government.
