Gerry Pollet is an incumbent State Representative for Washington's 46th District, having served since 2011 as a Democratic member. He advocates for progressive revenue reform, including a millionaire’s tax to reduce regressive sales taxes and provide stable funding for education and health. Pollet is committed to accessibility, holding regular "Traveling Town Halls" in his district. Before his legislative career, he co-authored the Growth Management Act and Model Toxics Control Act. He also founded and directs Heart of America Northwest, an environmental group, and has taught public health and environmental law. He is seeking re-election in 2026.
