Gina M. Cirincion is the Republican State's Attorney for Washington County, Maryland. A dedicated public servant in the county since 1994, she was promoted to Deputy State's Attorney in 2015. Cirincion was appointed as the State's Attorney in December 2021 and was elected to the position in 2022, becoming the first female to hold the office in Washington County. She is a lifelong Republican and is married to a 37-year police veteran. As the county's top prosecutor, she has been a vocal critic of legislation she believes could endanger public safety. Her re-election campaign is for the upcoming June 23, 2026 election.
