Ginger Guthrie and her husband moved to the Des Moines area in 2019. She has been actively involved in the school community as a substitute teacher and volunteer. Her volunteer work includes participation in the Athletic Booster Club, the School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC), the After-Prom Committee, the Safe & Supportive Schools Committee, and the Bondurant-Farrar Education Foundation.
