An experienced operations leader, he serves as Vice President of Community Engagement at Care Access. Previously, Schatz was Chief Revenue Officer at BlocPower and a program manager at the U.S. Department of Energy. A former U.S. Navy submarine officer, he continues to serve as a Commander in the Navy Reserves. Schatz holds a bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy, where he later taught, and a master's degree from Georgetown University. He is a Baltimore resident and parent of children in the public school system.
