Greg Wims is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 39 since his appointment on May 2, 2023. A sixth-generation resident of Montgomery County, Wims brings over 50 years of public service experience to his legislative role. His extensive career includes serving as the Director of the Upcounty Regional Services Center for Montgomery County, a chief legislative officer in the U.S. Congress, and a former Head Start teacher. An active community leader, Wims founded the Victims' Rights Foundation and has been involved with numerous other non-profit organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
