Gregory Holmes is a Democratic candidate for Prince George's County Executive. A third-generation resident of the county, he is running on a platform focused on economic growth, public safety, and affordability. Holmes has a background in both the private and nonprofit sectors, and his family owned the first Black-owned business in Landover Mall. He is the Managing Principal of HV Ventures Global LLC and Executive Director of the Norman F. Holmes Foundation. Holmes has previously run for federal office as both a Republican and a Democrat, and served as a Joe Biden delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
