Gregory T. Manning has served as the pastor of Broadmoor Community Church in New Orleans since 2011. He is the founder of the Greater New Orleans Interfaith Climate Coalition and a co-founder of the Louisiana Just Recovery Network, which assists residents in returning to their homes after severe weather events. Manning has been an advocate for campaign finance reform, renewable energy, and was instrumental in the passage of the city's Renewable Portfolio Standard, which mandates Entergy New Orleans' transition to renewable energy. He also led efforts to prohibit utility companies from making campaign contributions to city council members.
