He has spent his entire 25-year legal career in the Norfolk District Attorney's Office, beginning as an intern in 1996 and rising to Chief Trial Counsel. The eleven Massachusetts District Attorneys named him 2024 Prosecutor of the Year. He prosecuted the Puppy Doe animal cruelty case, the murders of Weymouth Police Sgt. Michael Chesna and bystander Vera Adams, and the murder of Ana Walshe. He helped implement Norfolk County's Drug Court and the first Veterans Treatment Court in New England, and in 2020 helped found the Conviction Integrity Committee.
