Habacuc Petion

Habacuc Petion is a Democratic candidate running for Wicomico County Council in District 3. He is the director of Rebirth, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Salisbury that works to empower immigrants and low-income workers. Originally from Haiti, Petion co-founded Rebirth to provide resources, social services, and advocacy for the local community, particularly the significant Haitian population in the area. Through his work, he has been involved in addressing food insecurity and promoting health equity. In 2022, he was appointed to the Wicomico County Police Accountability Board. His campaign focuses on leveraging his community leadership and advocacy experience to serve the residents of his district.
