Heath Flora is an American politician serving as the Minority Leader of the California State Assembly [1.2]. A Republican, he has represented District 9 since 2022, and previously represented District 12 from 2016 to 2022. Before entering politics, Flora served as a volunteer firefighter for over 15 years and worked with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. A lifelong farmer, he also owns Golden Valley Equipment and is a director at Exact Corporation.
