Helen Turner, also known as Cooki, was born on July 14, 1944, in Brevard County, Florida. She attended Madonna & Schurz high school and earned an associate's degree from Harper Jr College in 1981. She is retired and moved to Brookford approximately two years ago to be near family. Her past community involvement includes serving on the Schaumburg, IL Board of Health and as a C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocate).
