Hugh Holston is a native of Fayetteville, NC, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration. He has over 30 years of experience in Greensboro, with a professional background in leadership positions at companies like Wells Fargo, AT&T, and Lincoln Financial Group. He was appointed to the City Council in 2021 to fill a vacant seat and was subsequently elected. He also serves as the CEO of the Greensboro Housing Coalition. His community involvement includes serving on boards for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, the College Foundation of North Carolina, and the Greensboro Planning and Zoning Commission.
